How do i know if you are the right therapist for me?

It's awkward for everyone in their 1st session. Give yourself 2-3 sessions. You can also observe these things: 
Do you feel heard? Do you feel safe? Do I explain things in a way that makes sense to you?
Do I listen to you? Do I give the space for you to be yourself?
Then I am the right Therapist for you.

What happens in the first session?

First session is to create a rapport between the Client and the Therapist. Getting to know each other and building foundation for future work, followed by questions about the family background, client's Childhood, relationships. 

Is it In-person or Online?

Offering both In-person and Online Sessions.

How long will i need to be in therapy?

The duration of therapy is highly individual and depends on your goals, the type of challenges you're facing, and the therapeutic approach used.

How do i prepare for my first session?

Online:
Create a buffer before & after a session.
Have a pen & notebook.
Notedown the topics & questions that you want to discuss.
Ensure a spot where you will have some privacy.
Have a bottle of water and some tissue.

In-Person:
Have a pen & notebook.
Notedown the topics & questions that you want to discuss.
Come in comfort wear (You're there to do a emotional work & you don't want to be distracted by your clothing or shoes.


Don't worry about "doing therapy right." Your therapist is trained to lead the conversation and help you feel comfortable. Your only job is to show up as you are.
